Honoring Women Veterans
There have been women veterans for many years, but they have traditionally been small in number and they and their hard work and sacrifices were typically not publicly recognized. Now as more women have served in the military and in recent years more positions are opening up for females in all branches of the military, there is more of an effort being made to honor these Veterans.
