Largest Veteran Giveaway
in the History of Nevada
The Big Veterans, Active Duty, National Guard and Reserves Giveaway Event saw 1000 participants and their families as they were gifted over $1.8 Million Dollars of Appliances, Furniture and assorted home goods. This event is being called “the biggest event for Veterans and Military Personnel in the history of Nevada”. The participants and their families which totaled over people 1000 people, were treated to entertainment, fantastic food and drink from Sambalatte Boca Park, other sponsors such as Dad’s Inc., which is a program to help reconnect father’s to their children and Beyond Living which helps Veterans facing homelessness and gives them the opportunity to develop new skills or enhance the ones they already have so they can get back into the job market.
This event happened because of the outstanding and tireless efforts of nearly 200 volunteers, the leadership and philanthropic efforts of Peter Palivos (Philanthropist and Chairman of Voice of the Veteran), Pastor Paul Marc Goulet (former Pastor of ICLV and current CEO of CityServe Nevada), and Dave Donaldson (CEO of CityServe International). Kat Miller, Director of Nevada Department of Veteran Services (NDVS), Fred Wagar, Deputy Director of NDVS, and Brigadier General Troy Armstrong of the Nevada National Guard, were very instrumental in the planning and getting the message out to Veterans and Military Personnel to help make this event a success, and Voice of the Veteran CEO, Bob Maxwell an Air Force Veteran himself.
Voice of the Veteran is proud and blessed to have been a part of the Great Nevada Veterans & Military Personnel Giveaway Event and the fantastic people involved. We eagerly look forward to the next event!
