WHY WE DO IT:
Over the years, and now more than ever, many of us have witnessed the struggle of our Veterans to be helped and heard. What drives us is knowing that by joining forces with people like yourself, we are able to honor and support the brave men and women who have so selflessly fought for our freedom.
Voice of the Veteran (a non-profit 501(c)(3)organization) is dedicated to helping Veterans and their families in numerous modalities. Our combined staff affords us specific advantages and decades of knowledge in working with the Department of Veterans Affairs and other needs of Veterans and their families.
Voice of the Veteran Staff is comprised of a Registered Nurse, Veteran Service Officers (five), Legal Staff with Litigation, Class Action and Business Attorneys on our Board of Directors, Media Division, Management Team that includes 4 Veterans with 5 more Veterans and civilians as Staff Members.
Most recently, we have been assisting our Chairman, Peter Palivos in the fight against opioids in Nevada and under Mr. Palivos’ direction we are also assisting the Nevada Governor’s Office, Attorney General’s Office and the Law Firm of Eglet Adams which is headed by Robert Eglet, who is one of the top litigators in the United States.
Additionally, we are involved in the same capacity with the distinguished people listed above in the “Vaping Crisis” in the State of Nevada. Voice of the Veteran’s role is to bring awareness to this life threatening crisis and help educate all ages of citizens of Nevada about the dangers of “Vaping” through podcasts, digital presentations and our digital magazine.
Below is a breakdown of the Voice of the Veteran Operations:
VA DISABILITY CLAIMS
Programs include, but are not limited to:
- Assistance with VA Disability Claims for Veterans. We work with 5 Veterans Service Officers with 4 of them being National Veterans Service Officers. This organization is known by VSOF – Veterans Service Officer Foundation and is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization that we have teamed up with. The team is led by Retired Marine Veteran, Dan Kamanao who literally has Veteran clients throughout the world. Dan is highly respected and is thought of as the Gold Standard when it comes to VA Disability Claims.
- Our goal is to help Veterans with every step of the VA Disability Claims process, and once your disability claim is given to Dan’s outstanding team, every aspect of your claim process will include appeals (if needed) and hearings (if needed) before a Veterans Administration Law Judge in Washington D.C. (via live streaming). These hearing are held at the VA Hospital in North Las Vegas for Veterans living in Southern Nevada.
- The Voice of the Veteran Intake Director of Veteran Disability Claims is a highly trained and ethical Registered Nurse and Army Combat Veteran.
- The intake staff are also highly trained and ethical. Another added benefit to Veterans is that this service is absolutely free, no charge, not a penny, nada… because it is illegal for certified VSOs to charge for this service, so beware of imitations, scams and fraud.
Full disclosure: We do accept donations because we are a Nevada Non-Profit with a donation solicitation license and a registered United States IRS 501(c)(3) We are able to offer this service from the kindness of our donors and sponsors. This allows us to pay our bills and to keep on helping Veterans. We also apply for grants and other types of assistance as they become available. NOTE: We will NEVER ask for a donation for this service.
