“Day of Gratitude” Event Media
The Day of Gratitude Event was held at Allegiant Stadium on June 8, 2024 for Veterans, Military members and their families. Allegiant Stadium is the Home of the Las Vegas Raiders, site of Super Bowl 58, numerous great concerts such as Taylor Swift, the Rolling Stones and many more. On June 8, 2024, over 15,000 Veterans, Military members and their families were honored with 80 support services including the Nevada Veterans Hospital for Health Services, and Veterans Benefits, Mental Health Services, Housing Assistance, Employment Services, and many more. This comprehensive setup ensured that attendees could access a wealth of information and support tailored to their needs, fostering a community of care and empowerment for Veterans and their families.
The event included $4Million in gifts for attendees featuring $4 million worth of gifts from renowned brands like Amazon, Nike, Disney, EveryLife Diapers, and Earth Breeze laundry detergent to name only a few. The success of this monumental event was a collaborative effort between CityServe, Voice of the Veteran, and ChurchLV.
