Giving Back in a Big Way

Voice of the Veteran is considered the leader in giving back to our Veteran and Military Communities.

On March 12, 2022, in conjunction with City Serve and the International Church of Las Vegas (ICLV), Voice of the Veteran held the “Largest Veteran and Military Giveaway Event” in the history of the State of Nevada. Over 1000 Veterans, Military Personnel and their families were given $1.8 Million of the following:

  • Furniture
  • Appliances
  • Home Goods
  • Clothing
  • Diapers
  • Toys
  • School Supplies
  • And Much More
Voice of the Veteran helped Veterans receive $8.1 million in lifetime disability claims, which is up from $1.8 million in 2021.  Voice of the Veteran did this at no charge to our Veteran Heroes.  We accomplished this in only our second year of non-profit operations.
“I tried for over 50 years to get my Agent Orange claim and even went directly to the VA, they said that I did not qualify.  About 2 years ago, I met Tami at Voice of the Veteran and she said, “I will help you”.  I spent 4 hours with Tami and got 100% of my claim going back years.  If it wasn’t for Voice of the Veteran, I would barely be squeaking by each month.”  Lt. James Abram, USMC, Vietnam Veteran
Voice of the Veteran “Dream Come True” Program

Under the leadership of our Chairman Peter Palivos, many Veterans have been helped with their rent, utilities, home needs, medical bills and so much more. No one organization can help everyone, but if we cannot help, we connect you with another organization we trust to help you.  You will not be left behind!

“I am very grateful to Chairman Palivos, Voice of the Veteran, and the Nevada National Guard for giving me these needed appliances because I have no family in Nevada, other than the military family, which I am extremely grateful for”. Ursula Manning, Air Force Veteran.

Veterans History Project & Voice of the Veteran Show

We interview Veterans talking about their time in service, their stories, and their time after service.  We do this to preserve their history and to educate others, especially the younger generation, about what Veterans did to protect and enhance the United States of America.

Voice of the Veteran produces a show full of interviews, special guests such as Veterans, current Military members, community, state and federal leaders, professional athletes and more.

YouTube Channel.

Currently we have over 200 videos on our YouTube Channel covering a multitude of topics, interviews, podcasts, and events.

Honoring our Heroes Returning from Deployment.

Voice of the Veteran honors the returning Heroes from the Nevada National Guard as they return from deployment to other parts of the world.  The events are fully catered meals, with guest speakers, gifts, directions for help with mental health, financial, family issues and much more.  The bottom line is that Voice of the Veteran proves beyond any doubt that we are there for our heroes and that they are NOT forgotten and NEVER will be.  It’s all about Family, the Military Family.

Pictures are from a “Welcome Home from Deployment” for the Nevada National Guard Tank Division members as they returned from active duty deployment to Romania. The event was held at the Bella Vita restaurant in the District in Henderson.
